Vdara Hotel & Spa, a Forbes Four-Star and AAA Four Diamond Award winner, has furthered its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility with the launch of its new house wine program for Catering. The non-smoking, all-suite hotel now offers Bonterra’s 100% organic and Biodynamic® wines in four different varietals – Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bonterra Organic Vineyards, a luxury premium winery, was selected for having many of the same core values in sustainability, recycling and green initiatives as Vdara. Organic certification means synthetic pesticides and fertilizers are not used and the practices meet or exceed USDA regulations. Based on ancient farming techniques, Biodynamic practices complement the organic process and include promoting and enhancing biodiversity and biological activity in the soil. The growing process creates grapes that are pure, vibrant and intense in flavor, so groups can enjoy wine that is both delicious and good for the environment.
Meeting planners can collaborate with Vdara’s expertly trained staff to pair wines with the resort’s menus, which include a diverse selection of organic, sustainable and Fair Trade products. Interactive wine tastings and educational presentations on organic and Biodynamic food and wine can be incorporated. The options allow planners to exceed group expectations and provide a topic of conversation beyond the event.

Vdara’s boutique meeting facility can accommodate groups up to 300 people with more than 16,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 4,000-square-foot ballroom, an executive boardroom and the new Silk Road, a 6,500-square-foot contemporary space with floor-to-ceiling windows ideal for social gatherings, cocktail receptions and dinners.
