The 2010 National Business Travel Association (NBTA) International Convention & Exposition is a three day convention hosts over 65 sessions of various topics such as event planning, incentives, and business travel. This meetings industry conference is one of the largest with respect to the magnitude of its offerings
NBTA focuses on corporate and industry travel within the business travel sector. During the previous conference, key seminars included a closing address given by former President Bill Clinton and an important meeting and events speech by Virgin found Sir Richard Branson. International themes are incorporated for the variety of attendees by topics such as how to successfully start a Global Travel Program.
Thousands of business travel spokesmen, managers, and others involved in the events sector are attending. Anyone involved in corporate travel or interested in the meetings industry is encouraged to attend. Over 4,000 business travel managers from around the globe are expected to converge at the NBTA.
The NBTA has certainly been found beneficial and worthwhile for those attending. During the last conference in August 2009, 72% of buyers spent over $10 million for travel services. 66% of all attendees will find between one and eight new suppliers for holding meetings and events. 80% of all attendees seek new products and services at the NBTA Convention.
