Opened to the public in 1995, the National Museum of Art of Catalonya has pioneered modern art development and showcase. Although most visitors may know Gaudi or Picasso, this Barcelona Musseum exhibits the new and innovative Catalan artists. It is through museums like the National Museum of Art of Catalonya that successful local and contemporary art is born.
For meetings and special events, this Barcelona museum, unlike some of the older museums, is capable of handling all sorts of events. Make sure to contact the museum as certain days are only available for large guided tours. Call 93 412 14 13 on a weekday in order to make special reservations.
