MGM Resorts International continues to strengthen its position within the Meetings industry through strategic changes in its Sales force. With 11 resorts on The Strip and more than three million square feet of meeting space within Las Vegas, the Company has realigned key leadership roles within its Sales team, hired a new member to the team and created a new corporate sales position to maximize the team’s talents and Company assets.
MGM Resorts’ Sales team’s experience and expertise in the hospitality business is unrivaled; these five executives have a combined total of 99 years in the industry:
Gregg Herning, Vice President, Sales – MGM Grand: Gregg Herning has joined MGM Grand as vice president of Sales. Prior to MGM Grand, Herning was Brand vice president for The Peabody Hotel Group and vice president of Sales & Marketing for The Peabody Orlando. Herning has been highly successful in various roles throughout his 31 years in the business.
Stephanie Glanzer, Vice President, Sales – Mandalay Bay: As Mandalay Bay undergoes a property-wide transformation including new restaurants, nightlife and entertainment and THEhotel at Mandalay Bay transitions to Delano Las Vegas in Q3 2014, Stephanie Glanzer will play a key role as the vice president of Sales for the resort. She’s also responsible for the 1.7-million-square-foot Mandalay Bay Convention Center, one of the largest meeting facilities in the country.
Bryan Gay, Vice President, Sales – The Mirage: Bryan Gay has been appointed vice president of Sales for The Mirage, where he began his MGM Resorts career in 1989. In this role, his responsibilities include overseeing The Mirage’s Convention and Leisure Sales, Convention Services and Catering Departments.
Tony Yousfi, Vice President, Sales – ARIA: Tony Yousfi has been promoted from executive director of Sales to vice president of Sales for ARIA. In his new role, Yousfi provides strategic leadership and direction for Sales and Convention Services for ARIA and Vdara Hotel & Spa. Yousfi joined ARIA as part of the pre-opening team in 2008 as National Sales manager.
Dan Rush, Vice President, Global Sports & Event Sales – MGM Resorts International: The Company has created a new corporate sales role to cultivate the Sports market, and Dan Rush serves as vice president overseeing this new area. His responsibilities include building and developing a Sports Meetings & Events Program, targeting professional, amateur and youth sports for all MGM Resorts destinations. Focuses include sports-related associations, outdoor lifestyle tradeshows, sports marketing, sports competitions and more.
