For the third time, the city of Salamanca –which each year welcomes 30,000 Spanish language students – is once again the venue for this congress due to feature participation by researchers, teachers, schools, universities, companies, publishers and professionals connected with the teaching, promotion and dissemination of the Spanish language.

The congress will focus on three lines of action: one scientific, one explanatory, and one for professional opportunities. All these elements are aimed at measuring the role played by the Spanish language in this ever more globalised world.

Through talks, round tables and workshops, the participants will be able to learn more about how the new technologies are being incorporated into this sector, what possibilities it offers for professional development, in what way the language represents the whole of our cultural industry, and what initiatives are underway in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. An essential event for everyone interested in the Spanish language.
