– The Cancun Convention Visitors Bureau is proud to announce the Second Annual Sunset Boat Parade, which will be held December 1. Sunset World Resorts Vacation Experiences, with resort properties in Cancun, is hosting the festivities. The parade has started to become a local tradition in Cancun to help celebrate the start of the Christmas season.

The parade will feature ornately decorated boats and yachts, leaving from the Sunset Admiral Yacht Club Marina, traveling through Laguna Nichupté and arriving at Malecón Tajamar for viewing by locals and visitors alike. The parade trajectory will end at the Sunset Admiral Yacht Club and Marina, where the evening will continue with live music, delicious foods and dancing.

A contest will be held to select the top three best decorated boats. The Isla Shopping Village in Cancun’s Hotel Zone will also be hosting festivities to celebrate the Sunset Boat Parade. Other local companies supporting the event this year include Bubba Gump Restaurant, Margaritaville Restaurant, Outback Restaurant, Dolphin Discovery and many more.
