Jeronimos Monastery

Located in the Belém quarter, the Jeronimos Monastery was constructed during the 1500s by King Manuel I of Portugal who commissioned some of the finest Portuguese architects of the day. The Monastery is known for its amazing architecture as well as housing the remains of some of the famous Portuguese of the day, including Vasco de Gama. Jeronimos Monastery is dedicated to the ambitious Portuguese navigators and explorers. This is a must-see for every Lisbon visitor, and private event space is also available here.

St. George Castle

St. George’s Castle is one of the most recognizable symbols of Lisbon, as it can be seen from the majority of city sites. Built in the 6th century but reconstructed several times due to siege, the castle was actually dedicated to St. George, the patron saint of England, since Portugal and England made a treaty during the Middle Ages. Many artifacts of St. George Castle remain, including unique cannons.

The Cultural Center of Belem has been holding all sorts of events over the past years, including award winning musicians and spectacular dance performances. This modern Lisbon center reflects the historic architecture of Belém while incorporating modern spaces and technology. It is privately owned and hosts a full range of theatrical performances. Business meetings are quite common here, as the Cultural Center is turned from stage to conference.

Lisboa Tour with Old Timers

Old Lisboa by Tram

The group is divided in small teams. Each team receives a videocamera and a roadbook with special instructions and steps to follow – the task is to create a movie about Lisboa. Each team will have someone on the part of actors and actresses , movie director, etc. … At the end, a movie screening is held and an Oscars ceremony presents the prize award with the winners delivering their acceptance speech!!!
