Opened in 2016, Level offers 303 suites on 33 floors that include a fitness center, rooftop lounge, basketball court and outdoor pool.

Centrally located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, Level Furnished Living offers luxury and convenience for travelers with a blend of upscale residential and hotel amenities. The property is accessible for short-term stays, extended stays and corporate housing. It also features private areas for smaller meetings and unique outdoor events.

Level furnished apartment rentals feature fully furnished suites in a sleek, 33-story building that supplies panoramic skyline views and easy access to the financial district and Los Angeles Convention Center.

You’ll experience 24-hour concierge service as well as the diverse options of L Club, a 37,000 square foot indoor and outdoor space that provides a heated outdoor pool with poolside cabanas, hot tub, steam room and sauna, basketball court, a fitness center with rooftop vistas and several lounge areas. The building also offers 5,000 square feet of meeting space that can be extended to include an outdoor terrace.

Level Furnished Living Suites

Level Furnished Living LA features one, two and three bedroom suites that highlight chic interiors and contemporary details including high performance Sub Zero and Bosch appliances and in-suite laundry.

I stayed in an executive one-bedroom suite (870 square feet) equipped with floor to ceiling windows that highlight sweeping views of the LA skyline and a spacious balcony, which is a rare feature in downtown LA.

The bedroom has a premium king-size bed with a custom made mattress, designed by Hypnos, the British luxury bed maker that supplies the royal family. There’s also a flat screen TV and separate closet. A sliding door reveals the bathroom with  bathtub, shower and high end bathroom amenities.

The suite includes a living room with a plush sofa, chair, coffee table, desk and flat screen TV. It’s the perfect setting to relax and absorb the vistas while eating or reading. A glass-topped table with six upholstered chairs separates the living room from the kitchen area.

A benefit to staying in a furnished apartment is that you get your own kitchen. It features a long island with double sinks and six drawers and cabinets, a stove and oven. An ultra modern dishwasher and refrigerator, tableware and cooking utensils are also provided. The foyer supplies a storage room with closet organizer and safe as well as a washer and dryer.

The property provides weekly housekeeping services, grocery services, dry cleaning, high speed internet and premium cable TV.  Business and administrative services, valet parking and personal training are also options.

Level Furnished Living Dining

The building’s street level space is scheduled to host a Sakana Sushi restaurant later in the year, as well as a Cognoscenti Coffee shop. For a more varied selection, downtown LA serves up a wealth of nearby dining options.

Faith & Flower is a hip restaurant on 9th street that draws celebrities and hipsters with a modern interpretation of California cuisine that mixes flavors from Asia, Latin America and the Mediterranean. Mesquite grilled foie gras and fresh burrata pizza are highlights.  A luxurious vintage decor and artisanal cocktails make this a great spot for celebrations.

Peking Tavern is a subterranean Chinese gastropub that  features Beijing street food in elegant small plates. Look for hand-pulled noodles and Shandong style beef rolls. An open design and communal tables lend a welcoming, laid back feel to the space, which is open until midnight for late-night drinks at the gleaming bar.

Redbird is located in a deconsecrated cathedral (which is one of the city’s oldest buildings) and counts as one of LA’s hottest dining spots. A progressive, New American menu with decadent dishes that all begin with an “amuse booze”or small cocktail, has created a big buzz on the dining scene. Signature dishes include Veal Fraser For Two and Vietnamese octopus salad. The striking, historic decor makes this culinary experience even more memorable.

Clifton’s Cafeteria is a legendary downtown LA space that first opened in 1935 and was recently remodeled to feature a giant, fake Redwood growing through the building’s four stories, a craft beer bar, a high end restaurant, a tiki bar and a mixology bar as well as a cafeteria. Taxidermy, fossilized dinosaur eggs  and a bronzed meteorite add to the curiosity factor. Come for the inventive drinks like the Two Rays (Jim Beam pre-prohibition rye, Benedictine, chocolate bitters and rosemary) and a stroll through the kitsch.

Level Furnished Living Meeting Space

The property boasts three meeting rooms and outdoor event spaces which transform into 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. The high tech boardrooms feature retractable doors to create indoor/outdoor locations. The elegant outdoor lounge  can be set up to connect to the meeting rooms, expanding the capacity and function.

The smaller meeting room sits 18 people and the largest accommodates 36. Premium multimedia equipment is included with the space rental and a well-stocked catering kitchen is also available. Level Furnished Living supplies contacts for the areas best catering company so you aren’t tied to one menu or service.

Level Furnished Living Fitness and Pool Area

Located on the entire fourth floor of the building, the L Club supplies impressive amenities for health and relaxation which adds up to 37,000 sq.ft of indoor and outdoor space.

The fitness center includes state of the art equipment, floor to ceiling windows, a spin studio, private massage room and personal training. There are men and women’s changing rooms with private showers and ample room to work out with out bumping into fellow gym mates.

Heading outside, the 87 foot, heated pool beckons. After laps, you can hop into the nearby hot tub to relax your muscles or opt for the sauna or steam rooms. Outdoor rain showers provide refreshing finish. Poolside cabanas, loungers, barbecue and fire pits and an outdoor dining area provide opportunities to soak up the California sun or nibble on grilled dishes and socialize. A sprawling basketball court tops off the recreation area.

The Verdict?

Level Furnished Living downtown LA is perfect for small corporate meetings and business travelers who appreciate sophisticated, curated spaces. The prime location in downtown LA and luxurious amenities also make it a good option for an incentive event. Since room blocks can’t be reserved more than 90 days in advance because the property holds a portion of rooms for long-term residents, Level Furnished Living is not ideal for conventions or large meetings but for more intimate meetings and events, it offers a fresh experience with high quality service.
