41 million Americans are expected to fly between December 17, 2009 and January 6, 2010, according to data from the Air Transportation Association of America.

What should you know to avoid sickness and stay healthy when traveling on airplanes this holiday season?

Howard M. Heller, MD, MPH with MIT developed a short, yet entertaining video that may be helpful to share with others. When on airplanes, being in close proximity to other people who are coughing or sneezing in your direction are probably the most common ways to get sick.
