Event Jobs: Regional Marketing Manager

A regional marketing manager develops and implements strategic marketing plans for an organization on a regional level, according to Salary.com. Doesn’t sound like an events job? Think again. Many regional marketing managers rely on meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions and other special events to implement those plans for products and services using a variety of sales channels.

Of course, if you want to work in a marketing position, you obviously need to bring more than the traditional planning and negotiating skills to the role. Most of these positions require at least seven years of experience and at least a bachelor’s degree, but the payoff can be great. Regional marketing managers earn between $74,000 – $112,000.
