WTM

Novenber 8-11, 2010, London, UK

The WTM is an internationally acclaimed meetings industry conference focused on global business travel. Defined as the World Travel Market based on its focus, this international events conference is held in London and provides very enlightening data on international travel. Business travel itself cannot be defined nor managed without the exchange and interaction of those global meetings industry leaders as in the WTM.

The WTM provides insightful seminars on event management, business travel, and international travel topics. The upcoming conference in 2010 puts a strong emphasis on South Africa and the economic changes which the country currently undergoes as a result of the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Key speakers include representatives from South African tourism as well as the FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee.

Tens of thousands of leading global managers and leaders travel to the WTM every year, and 2009 was an extremely viable year with over 45,000 participants and 24,000 attendees. Over 5,000 companies partake each year, and over half the visitors are international. Exhibitors and visitors encompass almost every industry including trade associations, regional tourist boards, ticketing agents, technology companies, and destination management.

The WTM is certainly one of the most focused international travel events during the year. An opportunity to learn from and network with some of the key industry leaders in business travel should not be foregone.
